Coherent structures associated with interscale energy transfer in turbulent channel flows

چکیده

The flow fields of direct numerical simulation turbulent channel are decomposed into large scales and small based on the interscale energy transfer spectra. former is characterized by streaks quasi-streamwise vortices even in outer layer, latter hairpin-like vortical structures that similar to original fields. We further investigated coherent associated with real-space transfer. formation small-scale related large-scale shear layer.
